Monopoly Live

Monopoly Live is Evolution’s money wheel fused with a 3D bonus board, themed on the board game. You bet on segments of a spinning wheel; the number segments pay straight odds, and two special segments fire the bonus. In the bonus, an animated Mr Monopoly walks a 3D Monopoly board by dice rolls, collecting multipliers and cash amounts as he goes. It’s the most theatrical of the game shows — long, slow-building bonus rounds rather than a quick flip.

The honest framing is the same as the rest of the floor. The board run is where the eye-catching money is, and it only triggers when the wheel lands on its bonus segments, which is uncommon. The truly big runs — where Mr Monopoly stacks multipliers across a long walk — are rarer still. Most spins land on a plain number and pay modestly.

What the wheel and the board do

The round starts on the wheel and only sometimes reaches the board.

• Number segments (1, 2, 5, 10) — pay their straight odds when the wheel lands on them. The low numbers fill most of the wheel and land most often.
• Chance — a quick segment paying an instant cash prize or a multiplier on the spot.
• 2 Rolls and 4 Rolls — these trigger the bonus board. You’re given that many dice rolls (more can be added on the board), and Mr Monopoly sets off.

On the board, he lands on properties carrying multipliers and cash, picks up Chance and Community Chest cards, and the “2 Rolls” / “4 Rolls” squares extend the walk. Pass Go and amounts can double; land on Go to Jail and the run ends.

How the odds really play out

A worked example keeps it grounded. Say you put R10 on the 4 Rolls segment. Most spins it won’t land — your R10 is gone. When it does land, Mr Monopoly walks the board and your R10 is multiplied by whatever properties and multipliers he hits before the run ends. A modest walk might return R80 or so; the long, multiplier-stacking runs that make the highlight reels are the rare exception.

You’re only paid the bonus if you’d backed that bonus segment when it hit. Skip the rolls segments and the board can trigger without paying you a cent. As always, the wheel’s segment counts and the board’s multiplier values are shown live in the app — read them there before you stake.

How a board run gets paid

The settlement is automatic and lands as one figure. A number segment resolves the moment the wheel stops; a board run resolves when Mr Monopoly’s walk ends — whether he passes Go, runs out of rolls, or hits Go to Jail — and your total from every property, multiplier and card he collected is credited in a single payout. There’s no claim to make and nothing carried over to the next day. A R10 bet on the 4 Rolls segment that turned into an R80 walk is paid R80 the instant the run finishes.
